Stéphanie Jeanty, a Haitian filmmaker and visual artist. Born in Port-au-Prince, raised in Jacmel,
she got a diplome in cinematography at the Artist Institute shool.She specializes in production and
artistic direction.She worked for 2 years as an assistant production at Graphcity.In 2016, she
completed training in management of cultural organizations in Cap Haitien, a program supported by COOPI and Unesco. In 2017, she completed an internship at the Brazil-Haiti Cultural Center as a mediator
cultural. That same year, she created Milyon Bijou, which is a collection of handcrafted jewelry and
accessories. She has worked on several feature films like Malatchong by Bruno Moural as assistant manager and Freda the latest film by Gessica Généus released in 2021 as production secretary.
In 2019 she started taking plastic art classes at the art center. She took classes and workshops
with several established artists such as Frantz Zephirin and Pascal Merisier dit Paskö. In 2020, Stéphanie was awarded residencies by Quatre Chemins with her project Jistis pa Liks (justice is not a luxury). Project executed in Jacmel and the works were exhibited at the Yanvalou restaurant in Port-au-Prince. Passionate about art and culture, she carries her commitment through her art.
