He started his dance career in Haiti at the academy “Régine Mont-Rosier Trouillot” in 2014. He has been formed in several dance styles like: Modern dance, Jazz, Folklore and Ballroom. Later in 2017, he started studying at “The Escuela Nacional de Danza” under the direction of Marinella Sallent. He participated as an independent dancer with Michael Henriquez from Salvador in 2015 and with the conservatory “Alina Abreu” in the ballet “la Bayadera” in 2017. Afterwards, he debuted in the Canadian movie “Guibord s’en va-t-en guerre “ ( As an estra, figurant.) and was the role protagonist in a short dance film called “la pieza de Casseus “ from Camilo Mejia. He also participated in plays such as “El secreto del Cuervo” (2017) from Francisco Centeno in the great “ Premio Quisqueya “, Agua viva” from the choreographer Anabelle López de Ochoa, the solo “ mwen isit “ under the direction of master Francisco Centeno in the XIV festival
of contemporary dance ( EDANCO 2018), “Cascanueces” in the national school of dance in Santo Domingo, “Hansel y Gretel” presented by the producer Gatuna and Francisco Centeno, “Domicana’s Got Talent” with the ballet opera under the direction of Erick Guzmán , in the play “ Cri des Nago” (2020) in Martinique with the company Ayikodans under the direction of the Maestro Jeanguy SAINTUS and in the musical “ Tingo” by Atonio Melenciano. Steven also won a Scholarship in 2016 to the Joffrey Ballet in the United States and 2018 to the New York Dance Project, also in the United Staded. In July 2020 he received a full scholarship and participated in Pre-Professional intensive training with the Alonzo King LINES Ballet faculty. Today Steeven is the first Haitian graduated from the National Conservatory in Dominican Republic, He is excited to embark on his professional journey throughout the world!
